What is the difference between epilation and depilation?
Depilation removes the hair with its root temporarily – that is waxing and sugaring. Epilation targets the follicle so that hair grows back more sparsely.
Which method is the least painful?
Sugaring is considered the gentlest, as the paste is removed in the direction of hair growth. Laser with cooling is also relatively comfortable.
How long should hair be before the treatment?
Waxing and sugaring need 4–7 mm of growth. For laser, the opposite applies – shave the area 1–2 days before the session.
What should I avoid after hair removal?
For the first 24–48 hours avoid saunas, pools, tanning beds and intense exercise. Also skip scrubs and deodorant on the freshly treated area.
