Photo and TV Makeup Rīga

Photo and TV makeup is specially designed for professional photoshoots, video productions, television projects and public appearances. Cameras and studio lighting reveal details that are often invisible in everyday life, making professional techniques essential. Browse portfolios, compare specialists and find a makeup artist who can help you look flawless both on camera and in person. Skaists brings together makeup artists and beauty salons from across Latvia.

How does photo make-up differ from everyday make-up?

Make-up reads lighter on camera than in person, so it is built fuller with more precise contouring, using products free of light-reflecting particles.

How much does photo and TV make-up cost?

Photo make-up usually costs EUR 50–90. If the artist stays for the whole shoot to do touch-ups, it is often charged hourly at EUR 30–50.

Why are SPF products avoided in photo make-up?

SPF ingredients reflect flash light and can leave a white or greyish cast on the face in photos. That is why they are usually avoided for studio shoots.

Should the artist stay for the whole photo shoot?

Not essential for short sessions. For longer shoots with several looks it is valuable – the artist touches up and changes the looks between setups.

How do I prepare for photo shoot make-up?

Have a facial at least a week before and shape your brows 2–3 days ahead. On the day, arrive with clean, well-moisturised skin.
